Players will learn how to run the bases with intelligent aggressiveness. They will be empowered to make their own decisions on the basepaths anytime they can see the baseball. In those situations that they cannot see the ball, the coach will be their eyes and make those decisions. Our coaches do not tell our players when the run on a steal, or try to stretch a single into a double. Instead, we
teach our players in practice how to make these baserunning decisions, and
then empower them to make those decisions in games. Those decisions are
then evaluated constructively throughout our games, and the learning
process continues.
