16u Bulldogs open fall season September 11

The 16u Bulldogs will start their fall 2010 season September 11. The Bulldogs are the oldest of the Carolina Elite teams, and the focus for this upcoming season will be to shore up the situational baseball skills necessary to play winning baseball. The Bulldogs have a collection of very skilled players physically, but right now are lacking in game experience in the Elite program. This lack of experience has led to some mistakes that are very costly when it comes to running the bases, as well as being able to situationally defend our opponents (holding runners, bunt defense, 1st and 3rd defense, etc...) Because it's difficult for these older age groups to stay together, and also find tournaments where other teams are willing to compete, they will probably have to play up in 17 and 18 year old age groups. It will be a challenge, but bring it on.

If you are interested in joining the Bulldogs (or any other Carolina Elite team) please contact head coach James Molinari. You are eligible to play on the Bulldogs if you turn 17 on, or after May 1st 2010.
