Carolina Elite Eagles

The Carolina Elite Eagles will being their final season this August. This will be a fun, yet bittersweet season for me. Many of the Eagle players have been with me since their first 10u season, and it has been a great experience watching these players grow from little 10 year olds that could barely hit the ball out of the infield, to really solid, and mature ballplayers that are excelling not only with Carolina Elite, but also with their respective high school, and legion teams. I am certainly going to miss coaching these guys when this fall is over. At the same time, it's not over yet, and I'm really looking forward to getting on the field with these guys over the next few months. This team is very easy to coach, because the players not only know what they're doing (most of the time), but they are also very accountable to their own performance. I attribute that to great parenting, and also their "graduation" from Carolina Elite boot camp - which focuses on players developing a tough skin, and a very honest approach to their own performance, strengths, and weaknesses. If you are a parent of a young player and want to know what Carolina Elite Baseball is all about, and how it can help your child, I highly recommend you check the schedule, and come watch this team play. They are the best thing I can ever put on my resume.

You are eligible to join the Eagles if you were born on, or after May 1, 1995. As with all Carolina Elite Baseball teams please disregard roster size. Attendance is optional at all our tournaments, and so the actual traveling roster is almost always smaller than what you see listed on the website due to players missing tournaments. Moreover, this entire program is about learning to compete, and even if there is a large roster at a particular tournament your son will have an opportunity to earn his time and make it onto the field - the rosters are never closed!!!
